Enhanced Vision Programming Software

June 1, 2006
As the next generation of the vendor’s machine vision software, Sherlock 7 is easier to use and more capable than its predecessor.

New capabilities include a suite of tools for color image processing and methods to address a wide range of applications. Many new features are designed to speed application development, including comprehensive Windows-like editing capabilities, such as drag-and-drop and copy-and-paste, together with tool tips, status bars, context menus and performance monitors. Breakpoint and single-step debugging capabilities allow users to monitor and time every aspect of the inspection. Also included are a comprehensive suite of preprocessors, positioning tools, measuring tools, analysis tools and identification tools. Sherlock 7 is compatible with the vendor’s family of Vision Appliances and NetSight II line, and can also integrate with digital imaging frame grabbers or third-party IEEE 1394 compatible cameras.
