PC-based, Modular Vision System

May 1, 2006
PC-based and featuring application-specific solutions, the SmallFrEye_PC was originally developed for use in electronic device and component manufacturing, but includes software modules applicable for use in other industries, says the vendor.

The SmallFrEye_PC’s architecture supports multi-tasking, while its modular software design enables various functional blocks to be combined and exercised as needed to address inspection and automation tasks. The SmallFrEye_PC’s primary modules include part detection, package location, mark inspection/Optical Character Verification, ECC080 and ECC200 Data Matrix decoding, 1D bar code decoding, Optical Character Recognition, and others more specific to electronics production, as well as a collection of general purpose measurement tools.
