UPS Multiplies Voltage

April 1, 2006
The UB10.241 24VDC-UPS offers a method of battery backup that incorporates a voltage multiplier circuit into the design.

This allows only one 12V battery to be used where two were required in the past. The UB10.241 comes in a compact and sturdy metal housing controller, is rated at 10 amps and effectively charges the battery while also managing the output voltage to keep applications up and running. LEDs and relay contacts allow easy monitoring of the status of the battery, as well as the load.
