CC-Link Bus Coupler

April 1, 2006
The compact BK7150 Bus Coupler connects the CC-Link network to the vendor’s entire I/O system. CC-Link is an open fieldbus system with baud rates up to 10Mbaud that can be selected via a switch, so that transfer speeds can be adapted to unique process requirements.

In addition to the CC-Link, additional Bus Couplers are fully compatible with DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet TCP/IP, SERCOS, ControlNet, CANopen, Lightbus and others. When installed, one CC-Link I/O node consists of a Bus Coupler, up to 64 I/O terminals and one Bus End Terminal. The vendor’s K-bus extension technology allows for the connection of multiple nodes totaling up to 255 I/O But Terminals that are spatially distributed to one Bus Coupler. The BK7150 recognizes connected I/O terminals and automatically generates the configuration and affiliations of all inputs and outputs to the bytes of the system’s process image.
