The Scalance W wireless local area network (LAN) is designed to combine the convenience of wireless access with patented data reservation for critical clients and high security levels. Scalance W allows use of three wireless protocols in one system. With data rates up to 54Mbits/sec. and open standards of security, Scalance W operates at 2.4GHz (802.11b/g) or 5GHz (802.11a). The Scalance W industrial LAN solution includes access points, client modules, varying types of antennas, power supplies, cables and connectors. Scalance W has deterministic control and fulfills industrial performance requirements with an operating temperature range of -20ºC to +60ºC and IP65 protection. Security features include Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) security and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 128-bit long encryptions.
