Compressed Air Survey Freeware

March 1, 2006
The U.S. Department of Energy has stated that compressed air is one of the most costly utilities in plants today, and has estimated that 30% of all compressed air produced in the United States is lost through leaks.

The Compressed Gas Survey program is designed to help users reduce high energy costs associated with compressed air leaks. The software provides global updating for cost savings, leaks identified and leaks repaired. Results can be reviewed annually or by month. The software provides for comprehensive details of each monthly survey, including leak cost avoidance and size of leak in CFM. To add accountability to the leak survey, users will be able to identify leaks that have not been repaired and whether or not a work order has been issued. The Compressed Gas Survey software can be downloaded at no charge from the vendors Web site, at www.uesystems.com/prod_software_comp_air.asp.
