Connect Drives to Ethernet

Dec. 1, 2005
The SJ/L-EN Ethernet communication module option provides all of the vendor’s AC Micro Drives with a high performance, easy-to-use Ethernet interface.

The SJ/L-EN is installed externally and connects to the user’s network via a standard RJ45 connector. While the vendor had previously released the SJ-EN Ethernet option board for the SJ300 and L300P series drives, the SJ/L-EN completes Ethernet connectivity for the vendor’s entire AC Drive line. The SJ/L-EN implements

Modbus/TCP, and incorporates seven LEDs to monitor board status and activity, an 8-position DIP switch for setting the node address, and a Form-C alarm relay output. No special software or hardware is required.
