Manufacturing and executive decision makers can see key, role-based maintenance and purchasing analytics via a standard Web portal with Avantis.DSS.
This decision support solution transforms transaction data into visible, meaningful and actionable business analytics based on the individual’s specific role in the organization. Avantis.DSS software comes pre-configured to support a comprehensive set of generic KPIs based on best practices in maintenance and purchasing management. Users can, for example, visualize trends in quantity of work requests, work orders or backlog, make improvements and monitor their success. The Avantis.DSS software has three primary components. The data extraction component is built on Microsoft technology, which includes Microsoft SQL Server Data Transformation Services for extracting source data from Avantis.PRO software and transforming the data for application-specific analysis. The second component, aggregation, aggregates data into cubes for easier manipulation. The third component, visualization, uses Microsoft Office Web components to manipulate and display the KPIs on industry standard dashboards, including Microsoft Sharepoint and Wonderware Suite Voyager.
