Safety Advice and Documentation

Nov. 1, 2005
Whether companies are preparing documentation for OSHA, insurance companies, union leaders or safety committees, the vendor’s Safety Consulting Services can provide safety advice and documentation to be used for compliance checks and machinery safety strategies.

A plant assessment provides organizations with a simplified analysis of a single machine or an entire plant. The assessment provides a “snapshot” of the current safety status of a machine or plant, evaluates the safety control measures, checks the safety system and highlights the safety issues. When necessary, a more detailed version of the assessment provides a priority listing of machines. A risk assessment will provide organizations with easy-to-understand comprehensive documentation. If companies choose to carry out a risk assessment themselves, the vendor can offer comprehensive training on related standards. Alternatively, the vendor’s consultants can spend time on-site and either perform the risk assessment or facilitate the process for the organization.
