Profibus Gateway for HART

The KSD2-GW2-PRO is a Profibus Gateway for Remote Process Interface (RPI). Using field-tested architecture, the gateway features an integrated HART multiplexer in the same package size as the original Profibus DP gateway.

This allows customers to simplify their RPI installation and easily integrate HART functionality without additional wiring or barriers, says the vendor. The KSD2-GW2-PRO design allows HART signals to be gathered in the gateway by way of a power rail connection and HART-capable barriers. The signals are returned on their own RSW485 line.
