Process Simulation Offline

Sept. 1, 2005
As the latest component of the UniSim family of software and engineering services for plant life- cycle support, UniSim Design Suite R350 offers steady-state and dynamic simulation, design, performance monitoring, optimization and business planning for the oil and gas production, gas processing, petroleum refining and chemical industries.

UniSim Design Suite R350 is based on the latest release of Hysys modeling software, marking the vendor’s entry into the offline simulation support market. The new solution allows process manufacturers to design, test and train employees on new processes offline before they are implemented. UniSim Design can also reduce engineering costs by eliminating the need for many error-prone manual processes, such as data re-entry and data transfer, which account for up to 30 percent of engineering labor hours, says the vendor.
