Rugged I/O Distributors

Sept. 1, 2005
Designed as an alternative to Input/Output distributors that fall short of extreme life expectancy and robustness, the ECO SAI Blocks line is proven to be both long lasting and durable, according to the vendor.

The ECO SAI distributors offer class IP 68 protection, and are available with four, six or eight M12 ports. The distributors are designed with a pluggable connection hood for bus lines, enabling easy maintenance. In case of a defective cable, only the cable needs to be exchanged—not the entire distributor. Screw connection technology is used to connect the bus line across a terminal range of 0.1mm to 1.5mm (approximately 27 to 15 AWG). ECO SAI housings are made of the plastic Pocan, a self-extinguishing material with a flammability class of UL 94 VO.
