Versatile Industrial PC

Aug. 1, 2005
The PC56 is an in-rack PC that can be used as a stand-alone PC, an industrial PC with network connectivity or as an industrial PC with backplane connectivity tightly integrated into the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix environment.

Featuring a Pentium II processor with support for Windows (NT, CE, 2000 and XP) and DOS environments, the PC56 supports applications using Serial Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, DH-4856, DH+ and remote I/O communications. The PC56 can provide a platform for custom development of process-intensive applications, such as turbine control, OEM soft control, high-speed data collection and OEM C++ applications. A powerful API toolkit for the PC56 is well suited for OEM manufacturers and companies wanting to integrate their applications into the ControlLogix world.
