The PSD series of dual-output DC-DC converters produce twice the output power of comparably sized DC-DC converters, says the vendor, allowing designers to upgrade their systems without changing board layouts.
Four compact package sizes range from 0.79 x 0.63 x 0.31 inch for 1.5-watt models to 1.61 x 1.02 x 0.31 inch for 10-watt models. Further, a ventilated case minimizes the units’ weight to just 4 grams for 1.5-watt models and 14 grams for 10-watt models. RoHS compliant, the PSD series comes in 16 models, with power ratings of 1.5, 3, 6 and 10 watts. Each power rating can be supplied with a choice of 5-, 12-, 24- and 48-volt nominal input voltages, as well as an adjustable output of +/-12 to +/-15 volts. The dual output can also be configured as a 24- or 30-volt single output. PSD series pricing starts at $17.25 in single-unit quantities.
