iSight is the first member of a new product family integrating PC-based vision with the vendor’s robotic and motion control products.
It is designed to work seamlessly with the vendor’s Cobra i-series SCARA robots, to make the development and use of vision location, guidance and inspection applications simpler, faster and more powerful. iSight is the result of the tight integration of the vendor’s HexSight PC-based vision with the Cobra i-series, which is billed as the first robot to embed all controls and I/O in its base. iSight is a complete package that includes the application toolset, the vision software, vision and vision-to-robot calibration wizards, the camera and lens and the accessories to provide a complete out-of-the-box solution. Additional products will be rolled out over time that will work with the vendor’s other robots and controllers.
