Proficy Intelligent Production Solutions provides a broad range of integrated, easy-to-use software applications and services designed to allow users to improve productivity, profitability and competitive advantage by enabling the real-time enterprise, says the vendor.

The Proficy suite features a range of unified modules to meet individual requirements, allowing information to be shared freely between business and plant floor applications. Modules are focused on specific production requirements and can be implemented individually or as part of an overall solution. The Proficy suite provides a wide range of capabilities. The Proficy Real-Time Information Portal enables companies to collect, aggregate and disseminate data from multiple disparate backend sources and securely deliver a personalized view with a browser or Internet-enabled device. Multiple plant performance and execution modules provide automated production scheduling, tracking, broadcast and routing control. A set of integrated quality modules allows monitoring of appropriate parameters, traceability, quick corrective implementation, sustainability of high levels of quality production and compliance with industry regulations. The Proficy Historian provides a plant data repository, enabling runtime production and process tracking with automatic record keeping. Asset management modules provide solutions that closely link maintenance tactics to the needs of the equipment, and utilize factory floor information to close the loop between equipment performance and machine status. Proficy HMI-SCADA modules communicate with facility hardware and extract real-time data from industrial processes, helping manufacturers visualize plant floor operations, interact with processes, manage alarms, perform supervisory automation and deliver reliable production data to analytic and production applications. Proficy control and operator interface modules provide a universal development environment for machine-level control, including logic, motion and machine-level visualization.
