Rectangular Inductive Sensors

June 1, 2004
The Q18 Rectangular Inductive Sensor is the latest extension to the vendor’s Q-Pak line. Similar in style to the Q25 and Q30 inductive sensors, the these one-piece, rectangular sensors measure 18mm high by 18mm wide by 19mm long, and provide a low cost alternative to standard barrel sensors.

The rectangular housing offers a non-embeddable sensing range of 5mm designed for non-contact sensing of metal objects. These 3-wire DC, 10-30VDC sensors feature integral circuitry that protects against short-circuit, overload, wire-break and reverse polarity. They are also available with normally open NPN or PNP outputs.
