The unit is available in a variety of resolutions ranging from 0.00012-inch to 0.00192-inch per step and delivers thrusts of up to 50 lbs. The captive linear actuator is designed using a patented integral anti-rotation mechanism and is especially well-suited for applications in which external anti-rotation methods would be difficult or impossible to employ, the vendor says. In addition to standard configurations, the actuator can also be designed to meet specific application requirements.
