Watch Your Assets

Jan. 1, 2004
Easier deployment across fleets and improved fleet monitoring capabilities are among the new features of Equipment Condition Monitoring (ECM) 3.0.

The package is designed to enable asset-intensive industries to improve operational performance, asset uptime and customer service by providing real-time asset health monitoring of equipment and operating conditions. ECM 3.0 includes improved WorkBench engineering environment modules that allow greater flexibility in configuring fleets, importing data, fleet-wide monitoring and deployment. Users can receive notifications of potential equipment failure via e-mail or pager. Updated modeling capabilities in ECM 3.0 calculate variables based on functions of various sensor inputs. In addition to equipment data and sensor values, users can now include non-sensor inputs such as repair cycles and state variables.
