More Data Collectors

Aug. 1, 2003
iHistorian 2.0, the latest version of iHistorian plant historian software, adds two new data collectors to users’ list of options.

The Calculation Collector includes an engine that enables users to define their own calculations using a “Calculation Wizard.” They can also employ any of the predefined calculations bundled with the application or script their own customized calculations. The Server-to-Server Collector can be used to quickly and easily distribute data from one iHistorian server to another, facilitating applications in which multiple remote historians are collecting, aggregating and calculating data and reporting into a central historian.
