Nexcom: Fieldbus-Equipped Industrial Panel PCs

Dec. 18, 2013
The series is compatible with most PLCs in the world.

The series has consolidated Hilscher fieldbus technology and Schneider Citect software to support PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT protocols. The computers can communicate with the PLCs, PC-based controllers and remote I/Os from major brand names, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, and Schneider Electronics. This makes the units suited for monitoring and management of equipment, production lines, environments, power, and facilities. They help system integrators circumvent the perennial problem of fieldbus compatibility, allowing 20 percent savings and speeding up SCADA/HMI solution delivery by weeks. Other features include two RS232/422/485 ports and four channels of DI/O that offer 2.5 kV isolated protection. Units are available in 12.1-, 15-, 17- and 19-inch sizes. Typical applications include equipment monitoring and management, production line monitoring and management, environmental monitoring and capacity management.
