Switch Function Control for Instrumentation Panels

Jan. 26, 2011
The company releases a switch functional control device in three different formats with each one offering different functionality.
The three designs, with the exact same cutout fit of 1.50 x 1.62 inches, include an arrow mouse, orbital mouse and a six-button functional switch pad. The arrow device provides horizontal and vertical movement, and the orbital-mouse design allows for 360-degree cursor movement with left and right mouse buttons. The third, the six-button function switch pad, can be combined with an intelligent serial or a USB-interface PCB can be programmed to offer six, individual function codes to the host computer. The three devices have a coated, elastomer protection layer and employ NEMA 4 watertight seals that prevent against liquids and solids. Illumination is an option, with either constant or toggled backlighting. Applications include outdoor test equipment, automation machines, medical device instrumentation and energy plant console panels. CTI Electronicswww.ctielectronics.com
