Yokogawa announces the R1.02 upgrade to the Real-Time Production Organizer series, a suite of MES platform packages that integrate vertical production execution workflow across departments.
The suite now includes Workflow Composer VP, a newly released package that supports the use of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and is used together with Production Instructor VP and Production Supervisor VP. Composer VP allows for implementation of sequential flows being defined by logic objects, including Web Services, email, relational database access and scripting, among others. And a monitoring console provides execution status information and debugging assistance.Also included in the new suite of products are Production Instructor VP and Production Supervisor VP, both enhanced. The Production Instructor issues template-based or manual work orders for prompt execution, monitoring and analysis to identify best practices, while the Supervisor is used to monitor KPIs in real time on a role-based Web Dashboard.
