Simplify Vision-guided Robotics

March 2, 2009
RecogniSense is a single camera, 3D recognition system providing robotic guidance without the use of calibration targets or structured lighting.
It uses power over gigabit Ethernet technology and a patent pending interface. Born from the belief that today’s machine vision-based robotic guidance is too complicated and costly, RecogniSense is a single-camera, single-cable, simply programmed visual recognition system providing six degrees of freedom (X,Y,Z, Rx, Ry, Rz) plus object recognition output in a process time under 150ms for a 6x4-foot field of view. Capable of interfacing with automation that accepts data via RS-232 or Ethernet communication standards, RecogniSense is designed to simplify the machine vision genre.Comauwww.comau.com248.368.4316
