Power over Ethernet (POE): Embedded Vision System

Jan. 12, 2011
Reducing cabling with the M40 processor, the Impact M-Series embedded vision system features Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality.
The system allows up to four cameras to perform independent asynchronously-triggered inspections and, with the PoE component, the system can be installed at distances of more than 100 meters from a power supply. The product also eliminates the need for a separate computer for programming and processing, providing more workspace for operators and equipment on the factory floor. The automated inspection system can be used for the electronics, pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer products and automotive industries. Applications include inspection of electronic connectors, correct part seating during stamping, and fill and cap position detection on bottles. PPT Visionwww.pptvision.com
