Disconnect Switch Speeds Maintenance

Dec. 1, 2008
The SMVector Frequency Inverter now features an internal disconnect switch to facilitate service and maintenance.
Electrical codes in many parts of North America require a means of power disconnection at the motor. The internal disconnect reduces equipment cost by eliminating the need for a separate, external, disconnect switch mounted in its own enclosure, and associated wiring. The feature will also reduce downtime, says the vendor, by helping get operations back online faster.Lenze-AC Tech Corp.www.lenze-actech.com508.278.9100
