The IP65 Series motors are totally protected against dust and are guaranteed to withstand low pressure jets of water sprayed from all directions from a distance of 3 meters, the vendor says. These jets of water can carry up to 30kPa from all directions at a rate of 12.5 l/min for a duration of 3 minutes. In addition to providing protection from environmental factors, the vendor adds, the coating on IP65 Series motors are FDA approved.
