The planetary gear reducers offer similar technical specifications to the PGA series of in-line gear reducers, and provide a solution when space and clearance requirements are limited. Available in four gear ratios (5:1, 10:1, 15:1, 25:1), the gear reducers feature a thread-in mounting style, helical-cut planetary gears for quiet operation and uncaged needle roller bearings for high rigidity and torque. The maintenance-free design also features high-viscosity, anti-separation grease that does not migrate away from the gears and does not need to be replaced for the life of the unit. The reducers can be mounted in any orientation and mounting hardware is included for attaching to the company's SureServo motors. Units are available with a 6 arc-min backlash rating for two-stage and 9 arc-min backlash for three-stage.
