Open loop repeatability of all stages is 0.5 µ using a 10 micro- steps-per-step step motor driver or 0.25 µ using a 20 micro-steps-per-step step motor driver. Precision ground lead screws with just 2 µ of backlash and high precision cross roller linear travel guides assures repeatability of 5µ and positional accuracy of 10 µ. Table sizes and loads of these linear stages are: AQ110-15 is 65 mm x 65 mm (2.559 in x 2.559 in) and 10 kg (22 lb); AQ110-30 is 90 mm x 90 mm (3.543 in x 3.543 in) and 15 kg (33 lb; 90 mm x 110 mm (3.543 in x 4.331 in) and 15 kg (33 lb); and AQ110-50 is 90 mm x 110 mm (3.543 in x 4.331 in) and 20 kg (44 lb). Each table has a pattern of 16 threaded mounting holes for the addition of custom tooling and the base has drilled and countersunk holes, for easy integration into new and existing applications. A knob on the back of the motor can be used for manual adjustments or replaced with an incremental encoder. Options include: servo motors, encoders, limit switches, and fully compatible multi-axis motion controllers.
