The ECP5000 severe duty motor can deliver up to 1000 hp or 745 kW. It was built to match NEMA dimensions to be compatible with existing installed bases. The design also enables the ECP5000 motor to meet IE4 levels in direct online installations. When used with a variable frequency drive, the motor is capable of achieving level IE5. The ECP5000 housing is made of cast iron and is IP66 rated. Its left-hand side conduit box can be rotated in 90-degree increments or converted into a right-hand side or top mounted box.
