Rear-mount Touchmonitors

Jan. 1, 2006
The 1749L and 1746L are 17-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) rear-mount touchmonitors that have identical form factors, differing only in their panel specifications.

The 1749L features a panel with a wide viewing angle of 170º vertical by 170º horizontal, 500:1 contrast ratio and a 250 cd/m2 brightness. The 1746L has a viewing angle of 140º by 140º and similar contrast and brightness, but at a lower price, says the vendor. Both touchmonitors feature the vendor’s clear glass IntelliTouch surface wave touch technology for optical quality, and both rely on an injection-molded minibezel with a watertight seal that make them well-suited for a variety of applications, including industrial automation.
