Rev 4.7 of DevCom2000 Smart Device Communicator Software for HART instrumentation adds a trending feature that allows users to trend the parameters of HART devices, including process variables and more.
Other improvements include the ability to easily add additional Device Descriptions, and improved multi-drop configuration capability. The software comes pre-loaded with all of the DDs registered with the HART Communication Foundation so users can deploy DevCom2000 right out of the box. The improved multi-drop capability is important for users employing some of the new WirelessHART adapters on the market that support transmitters in a multi-drop configuration.
