OPC Technology Benefits at Hanover Fair

The OPC Foundation hosted a busy trade show booth at the recent Hanover Fair, and participated in the Field Communications Lounge (FCL), which highlighted communication technologies supported by leading organizations. OPC Foundation’s broad-based presence at the recent Hanover Fair, held in April 23-27 in Hanover, Germany, included hosting its own trade show booth and participating in the Field Communications Lounge (FCL). As well, OPC technology was displayed in many exhibitor booths throughout the Fair, including a demo in the SAP booth that highlighted the use of OPC UA to integrate shop floor to top floor. The OPC Foundation booth was supported by partner pods and representatives from OPC Foundation member companies, including Ascolab, Beckhoff Automation, InduSoft, Kepware, MatrikonOPC, Prediktor, Siemens, Softing, Triangle MicroWorks and Unified Automation.
