A few years ago, Johnson Controls launched the first-in-the-US plant to supply Lithium-Ion batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles. To make these products, this plant has clean rooms and dry rooms and requires strict traceability reporting. In the face of this production complexity, Johnson Controls realized the plant needed a comprehensive manufacturing operations management program.
