IronHorse ACN and ACNND NEMA 4X AC Drives from AutomationDirect

Aug. 2, 2021

AutomationDirect has added new NEMA 4X AC drives to their IronHorse brand of drives. These new high-performance VFDs support four control modes including V/Hz, slip compensation, sensorless vector, and torque control, and come in a variety of voltage and horsepower ratings for an extremely affordable price.

The ACN / ACNND series drives can control 230VAC three-phase motors up to 20 hp when powered with 230VAC three-phase and up to 10 hp when powered with 230VAC single-phase. The 460VAC models support motor sizes up to 30 hp when powered with 460VAC three-phase and up to 15 hp when powered by 460VAC single-phase.

These drives include ample built-in I/O and support Modbus RTU. Additional I/O is supported with option cards as well as Ethernet communications that allow the drive to be controlled and monitored over Modbus TCP or EtherNet/IP.

VFD Suite is a free, user-friendly software package that allows for configuration of the ACN/ACNND drive, programming of the sequence controller, and other advanced features, such as trending.

These new IronHorse ACN and ACNND drives start at $189.00 and have an 18-month warranty.
