The electric gripper from Robotiq combines high accuracy with a 50 mm parallel stroke.

This makes it appropriate for precision assembly tasks, while its sealed design ensures reliability in tough manufacturing conditions. Grip force is 60-130 N (14-27 lbs), form-fit grip payload is 5 kg (11 lbs), friction-grip payload is 3 kg (7 lbs) and gripper weight is 1 kg (2.2 lbs). The unit comes with a three-fingertips kit so automation engineers can easily integrate the gripper in their application and begin production quickly. Its compact and ergonomic shape makes collaborative robot hand-guiding safe and easy. The unit is programmed with the same intuitive software as the company’s other models, which gives full control over the gripper’s position, force and speed; it also integrates seamlessly with the company’s Wrist Camera and Force Torque Sensor. Suggested applications include assembly, pick and place, quality testing and machine tending.
