Despite its simplicity compared with regular programming languages, low-code software is still typically viewed as an IT tool. But the development of common use templates are making it easier for non-IT professionals in manufacturing to create apps for themselves without having to supply IT with loads of documentation and then wait to see if the apps created by IT perform as expected.
