At Pack Expo 2023, Kevin Welsch with Sick Inc. showed off the company’s newest vision sensor system, which comes with everything need in one box. The Lector One Box for barcode scanning applications features the Lector85x image-based code reader that can be configured, diagnosed and monitored from its webserver, which is also designed to ease integration of the Lector85x with your existing systems. Three versions of the Lector One Box are available for different application setups. Each version contains all the parts needed (such as mounting brackets, cabling and communications) to set up the system and begin barcode scanning quickly. Welsch said the typical time to install a Lector One system is about 15 minutes.
