IDEC, ez-Wheel Create Optimal Human-Machine Environment

IDEC acquired 80% of ez-Wheel's shares in a recent transaction.

French goods transportation manufacturer ez-Wheel sold 80% of its shares to IDEC, Control Design reported.

Following the acquisition, IDEC plans to build up ez-Wheel’s research and development teams while expanding its mobility solutions sales to the global market.

ez-Wheel produces self-propelled wheels that can be attached to automated guide vehicles, mobile conveyors, autonomous mobile robots and more. The wheels incorporate control and safety elements, along with motor, drive and gearbox driveline, into one device.
