Meter Prover Module for ControlLogix

June 30, 2011
Meter prover interface enables the company’s flow computer to make critical oil flow, mass and volume calculations directly from a meter prover via the backplane of a Rockwell Automation ControlLogix platform.
The module resides directly in the ControlLogix chassis, acting as an add-on co-processor dedicated to calculating flow measurements without burdening the PLC with complicated flow algorithms. The system enables complete automation of the meter proving process and management from the user’s SCADA system. The prover interface supports add-on profiles, unidirectional pipe provers, bidirectional pipe provers, compact provers, and master meter provers.ProSoft Technology www.prosoft-technology.com 661.716.5100
