2-Axis Stepping and Servo Motion Control Universal PCI Card
Feb. 12, 2010
The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the PCI-1220U, a 2-axis motion control card for stepping and pulse-type servo motors with hardware controlled linear and circular axis interpolation which ensures synchronized movement across both axes, without consuming the PC’s CPU.
Other features include programmable T/S-curve acceleration/deceleration rates, constant speed control, hand wheel and jog functions, up to 4 Mpps output for each axis, two pulse output types (CW/CCW or pulse/direction), 1 MHz encoder input for each axis, two encoder pulse input types (A/B phase and up/down), and position management and software limit switch functions. For users that only need to control two axes, the PCI-1220U is a cost-effective solution over a 4-axis motion control card.
