Windows 7 Support for OPC Products

Nov. 2, 2009
Cyberlogic, supplier of OPC server and industrial communication software, announces Windows 7 support for its entire line of OPC software products.
Following the release of the 64-bit, OPC server suites and the Windows 7 announcement, the company offers an easy migration path for users moving to x64 Windows platforms. The 64-bit editions provide native 64-bit support, with 64-bit kernel-mode device drivers for all x64 Windows operating systems, including Windows 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003 and Server 2008. For 32-bit applications, the 64-bit OPC suites provide dual-interface support, enabling concurrent operation of both 32-bit and 64-bit OPC client applications in x64 Windows operating systems. With the addition of the new 64-bit kernel mode device drivers to Cyberlogic’s OPC server suites, users can now deploy 64-bit systems, regardless of the type of network or network adapter used in their installations. With the dual interface, the legacy 32-bit client applications and new 64-bit client applications can operate concurrently in the same x64 Windows machine. DHX and MBX OPC Server Suites come with all the required device drivers for all Allen-Bradley and Modicon networks and PLCs. Free trials for all products are available at www.cyberlogic.com.
