The company releases 64-bit versions of Cyberlogic OPC Server Suites, allowing native 64-bit support for all x64 Windows operating systems, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and Server 2008.
The DHX and MBX OPC server suites feature all required device drivers
for Allen-Bradley and Modicon networks and PLCs. With the addition of
the new 64-bit kernel mode device drivers, users can deploy 64-bit
systems, regardless of the type of network or network adapter used in
their installations. A mixture of the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the
company’s OPC products can be deployed in the distributed environments
with 100 percent compatibility and interoperability, the company adds.
With the release, the company plans to ship both the 32-bit and 64-bit
versions of the software on the same product disc. During installation,
the operating system automatically detects and the required version of
the software is installed. Cyberlogic OPC
