Precision Synchronous Motors

April 1, 2009
Universal 8JS three-phase synchronous motors are designed for applications requiring superior dynamics and positioning precision.
Featuring high performance in a compact size, these permanent magnet, electronically commutated synchronous motors have sinusoidal commutation with an EnDat encoder or resolver as feedback unit. The rotor design ensures minimized moment of inertia and provides the motor with superior dynamic properties. An optimized torque ripple and a stall torque between 0.8Nm and 52.5Nm is designed to meet the needs of sophisticated motor solutions. The self-cooled motors are available in six sizes and are designed to offer flexibility in application tasks where space is an issue.B&R Industrial Automation Corp.www.br-automation.com770.772.0400
