AADvance is designed to enhance and expand the offerings of the ICS Triplex Trusted system, a triple modular redundant system certified for use in SIL 3 applications.
AADvance is an industrial controller that can be configured for simplex, dual, triplicate control, and safety applications. Systems can be small and stand-alone, or large and distributed. AADvance features include:•    TÜV certified for use in SIL 2 and 3 applications.•    Easily transformed from a simplex non-safety to a fault-tolerant, safety-related system.•    Scalable I/O module expansion online without system interruption.•    I/O modules incorporate HART and line monitoring features for enhanced field device diagnostics.•    Handles all five IEC 61131-3 programming languages.•    Handles IEC 61499 distributed function blocks. •    Supports industry standard protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus RTU, Open Modbus TCP, OPC and AADvance protocols.The controller is suited for a variety of applications, including critical process control, emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection, burner management, and other control functions.
