Advantech Launches 2-Port AMONet Master Module for ADAM-5550

The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the ADAM-5202, a 2-ring AMONet module that provides up to 128 communication slaves and supports distance communication of up to 100 meters.

The ADAM-5202 has an operating temperature range of 0 ~ 50°C (32 ~ 140°F) and a surge protection of 10 kV.

The transmission speed can support 2.5, 5, 10, or 20 Mbps with automatic data flow control and accepts half-duplex RS-485 serial interfaces with transformer isolation. There are LED indicators (active and error) for each port. This module can also be used as a motion module for AMONet Master Control.
