Emerson Launches First Four-Electrode Sensor For Single-Device CIP Conductivity Measurement

The Rosemount Analytical Model 410VP four-electrode conductivity sensor is the latest addition to the PUR-Sense family for the life sciences and food and beverage industries. It is the first single four electrode sensor with a range wide enough—1 mS/cm to 1400 mS/cm—to monitor both clean and rinse conductivity in clean-in-place (CIP) monitoring. It also can monitor eluent conductivity in chromatographic separations and detect liquid interfaces.

Benefit includes lower initial cost, less space taken up by sensors and analyzers, and reduced maintenance and training requirements compared to previous set-ups.
