Wireless Vibration Monitoring

Oct. 1, 2008
CSI 9420 Wireless Vibration Transmitter now available in two frequencies.

The CSI 9420 Transmitter, introduced at the 2007 Emerson Exchange with a 900MHz radio, is now also available in an industry standard WirelessHART version which uses the 2.4Ghz radio frequency. Customers can now choose the frequency rate that best suits their existing or planned networks.

The rugged CSI 9420 provides accurate vibration monitoring via Emerson’s Smart Wireless self-organizing network. CSI 9420 Wireless Vibration Transmitter connects quickly, easily, and economically to any machine and is ideal for hard-to-reach or cost prohibitive locations. Configuration, diagnostics, and alerts are imported into AMS Suite: Intelligent Device Manager. The CSI 9420 can be configured for a variety of low-power accelerometer sensor input options including one accelerometer, one accelerometer with embedded temperature, or two accelerometers.
