GEN-5509 Fiber Ethernet Switches are designed to connect remote sites through fiber, allowing the management of remote networks through the switch. 

The switches provide eight 10/100TX ports plus one 100FX Managed Ethernet Switch port. Features include: support of IEEE 802.3/802.3u; store-and-forward switching architecture; IP security; 10/100, full/half duplex, MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing; rate limiting; SNMP/telnet/console/Web management; port based VLAN/802.1 Q Tag VLAN; double VLAN tagging (Q in Q); and 100VAC to 240VAC input  plus 12VDC input from terminal block. Prices start at $199.
