GigE Industrial Cameras

March 16, 2008
The GiantDragon line of Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) and GenICam compliant industrial cameras is comprised of nine monochrome and color models, all employing the AIA GigE Vision open standard.

This design enables the real-time delivery of high bandwidth streams of non-compressed imaging data to host PCs over CAT-5e and CAT 6 cables to distances of up to 100 meters without specialized interface hardware or frame grabbers. System integrators can select from models offering up to 90 frames-per-second and resolutions as high as 1600x1200 (UXGA). Housings for each camera are identical, measuring a compact 44mm x 29mm x 70mm (W x H x D) and utilizing C-mount lenses, allowing for easy integration and interchanges.
